This Privacy Policy explains how NovaNestFS LLC ("NOVANESTFS," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and discloses personal information when you visit NOVANESTFS, contact us, create an account, use membership features or choose to receive SMS alerts. Public guides can be read without creating an account.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, password hash, email verification status and information needed to maintain your account and session.
• Contact information: your name, email address and the contents of messages you choose to send us.
• Membership and transaction information: subscription status, billing interval, payment status and identifiers supplied by our payment processor. NOVANESTFS does not store full payment card numbers.
• SMS information: your mobile number, optional email address if provided, selected alert topics, consent status, consent language and version, submission source, timestamps, opt-out status and related delivery or response records.
• Technical and security information: session identifiers, IP address, browser or device information, request metadata and security or audit records generated when you interact with an active service.

2. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you submit a form, create an account, contact us, select a membership option or enroll in SMS alerts. We may also receive limited transaction, delivery and status information from service providers that process payments, email or text messages on our behalf. Technical information may be collected automatically when needed to operate and protect an active service.

3. How we use information

• Provide, maintain and secure the site, accounts and requested services.
• Respond to questions and support requests.
• Administer memberships, access rights and payment records.
• Deliver SMS alerts only after the required consent and verification.
• Maintain consent, suppression, delivery, security and audit records.
• Detect misuse, investigate errors and comply with applicable obligations.

4. SMS and mobile information

NOVANESTFS SMS alerts provide informational updates about consumer protection guides and the fraud-awareness topics you select. SMS consent is optional, requires a separate affirmative choice and is not a condition of purchase. When enrollment is active, we retain the mobile number, selected topics, consent source, timestamp, disclosure version and confirmation or opt-out status needed to document your request.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Our SMS service provider may process mobile information solely on our behalf to deliver the messages you requested, process replies and maintain required delivery and compliance records. It is not permitted to use that information for its own marketing.

5. Service providers and other disclosures

We may disclose only the information reasonably necessary to vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, database operations, email delivery, payment processing, SMS delivery and security. These providers may use the information only to perform the contracted service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

6. Cookies and sessions

When account services are active, NOVANESTFS uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect account access. We do not currently use advertising cookies or sell browsing activity for targeted advertising.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. SMS consent and opt-out records may be retained to document consent and ensure that suppression requests continue to be honored. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it according to the applicable retention process.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, access is limited according to operational need and payment card details are handled by the payment processor. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information associated with you, subject to identity verification and applicable exceptions. You may withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP. We may retain limited records when needed for security, legal or suppression purposes.

10. Children's privacy

NOVANESTFS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address the request.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. When appropriate, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
